How Long Has F.H. Furr Been In Business?

F.H. Furr was started in 1936 in Georgetown, DE, as the L. Nelson F.H. Furr Company. The company was later joined by nephew Ernest E. F.H. Furr, Jr., and the name was changed to F.H. Furr. F.H. Furr has been a family-owned business for over 75 years, spanning 4 generations. See our History and Location page for more information.

What Are Your Service Areas?

We serve all of Delaware and the Eastern Shore. Our central location in Georgetown, DE, puts us in the perfect spot for quick service throughout Sussex and Kent Counties in DE and Worcester County, MD. See our Service Areas and Hours page for more information.

What Services Does F.H. Furr Offer?

F.H. Furr Plumbing & Heating offers plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical services. Whether that’s repairing a leaky faucet, maintaining or replacing your HVAC system or installing new electrical outlets, we do it all! We even provide 24/7 emergency services and offer services for both commercial and residential clients.

We charge by the job, not by the hour. That means that you save more money and get an upfront price on any repairs. No surprise expenses when the job is completed! It’s just one more way we strive to give you the best service available.

What Are Your Guarantees?

F.H. Furr actually goes above and beyond most manufacturers warranties; F.H. Furr guarantees our repairs for TWO years on the part (manufacturers usually only warranty parts for 1 year or less) and 1 year on our labor.
