Clean Your Ducts!

Why? Because to put it simply, they get dirty!

Not only do dust and dirt accumulate in the ductwork, other air pollutants such as: pet hair and dander, smoke and cooking odors, and microbial growth will cause the air flow to be slower and ducts to be less efficient! If you have someone in your home who is more sensitive to these contaminants, and/or suffer from Allergies and Asthma than there is no question if you should get this service.

Did you know, according to the American Lung Association, that most people spend 60-90% of their time indoors? Since we do spend so much time indoors, having clean air is one of the most important things you can do for you, your family, your home and even your wallet!

When looking for a provider to clean your ducts, make sure they are NADCA (The National Air Duct Cleaners Association) certified! To become NADCA certified HVAC techs must go though testing and training before they are conducted into the NADCA association, which means, they know their duct cleaning stuff inside & out!

How Does Duct Cleaning Work?

At F.H. Furr we:

  1. Break Contaminants Loose: Properly cleaning HVAC systems requires removing the sources of contamination. Source removal begins with use of one or more agitation devices designed to loosen contaminants from the surface within the duct system.
  2. Collect Contaminants: The entire HVAC ductwork system is placed under continuous negative pressure (vacuum) to prevent the spread of contaminants. This allows very fine particles to be removed from the system as they become airborne, ensuring that these particles are not released into the living space when the system is turned on after cleaning.

At F.H. Furr, your comfort is important to us. Keeping your air ducts clean will protect your family from airborne allergens and harmful debris, and will help keep your HVAC system working at peak efficiency, saving you money each month!
