The Sea Witch Festival in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, is a beloved Halloween tradition held annually in late October. The 34th edition took place from October 25 to 27, 2024, featuring a vibrant parade, live music, costume contests, and family-friendly activities. Highlights included the grand parade along Rehoboth Avenue, a costumed dog parade, trick-or-treating, and the Sea Witch 5K Classic Run and One Mile Fright Walk.
The Maryland State Fair, held annually in Timonium, celebrates the state’s agricultural roots with livestock shows, 4-H competitions, and equine events. Visitors enjoy carnival rides, live music, food vendors, and family-friendly entertainment across three weekends from late August through early September. It’s a beloved tradition that blends rural charm with classic fair fun for all ages.
The Carroll County 4-H & FFA Fair, held annually in Westminster, Maryland, is a cherished community event that showcases the agricultural achievements of local youth. The 2024 fair featured over 16,000 exhibits, including livestock, crafts, and baked goods, and offered a variety of attractions such as tractor pulls, demolition derbies, and children’s activities like face painting and magic shows.
Mark your calendars! Haymarket Day is returning Saturday, October 18, 2025. Our Town’s biggest event of the year! Attended by over 15,000 spectators and 200 vendors. Enjoy a hometown street festival including a parade featuring local schools, performers, and law enforcement, to local food, craft vendors, live music and more!
A family and community oriented celebration of Memorial Day and the greater Vienna Community spirit. Amusement rides, food, crafts, vendors and entertainment – fun for all ages! Vendors include handcraft artisans, retail vendors, professionals, political parties and candidates, and community and non-profit organizations. 100% of proceeds go to charitable, community and humanitarian organizations.
With 80 musicians, over 100 exhibitors, one of the largest kids’ areas of any festival on the east coast and all of the great Carytown style, the Carytown Watermelon Festival has become the largest one-day festival in the state of Virginia. Experience great live music on multiple stages throughout the festival, delicious food from local vendors, shopping and tons of watermelon! It’s a Richmond tradition that is celebrating its 42nd year!
The Ashland Strawberry Faire was started in the early 1980s to give non-profit organizations a venue for fundraising. We continue to offer booth spaces for non-profits for a small fee. A portion of the profits from the Faire go to our Scholarship Program for Hanover County Public High School students and to Randolph-Macon College students. The faire also offers a Grants-for-Work program for non-profit organizations who help them run the Faire.
Mosaic welcomes Spring with a two-day festival in partnership with the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Enjoy over 90 artisan vendors and over 50 local snack/produce vendors. Also featuring plenty of activities for the kids, live music and Tommy McFly as the official Emcee!
