Blood Drives Give Back to Those in Need!
‘Tis the season of giving! As the holiday rush begins, we are encouraged not to lose sight of the fact that giving is often more important than receiving. At F.H. Furr, we believe in these values not just during the holidays but all year round.
F.H. Furr stays involved in the community and recently held a blood drive to give back. All F.H. Furr employees were encouraged to participate, and we succeeded in the amount of blood needed for the drive. Needless to say, it was a success, thanks to the community coming together and willingly giving up their time and energy to give back to those in need.
F.H. Furr encourages you to get involved this holiday season and gift the gift of giving. Whether it’s giving blood, donating toys, or helping with a local shelter, there are plenty of opportunities for you to participate in your community.
We hope that you find some way to get involved this year and experience the joy of giving!
Volunteers Donating Blood At F.H. Furr
Our employees were thrilled to participate in F.H. Furr’s annual blood drive to give back. We would like to thank each team member who participated, as well as members of the community and the staff at the Red Cross. Without each volunteer’s time and goodwill, the blood drive would not have been the success it was. Lives were saved because of volunteers. Join the cause today and donate blood!
Give Blood. Give Life.
This Christmas, give the gift of life to someone in need. Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood, and more than 41,000 blood donations are needed every day.
When you donate your blood, it can be used for those who are suffering from cancer, sickle cell disease, or victims of accidents. A single-car accident victim can require as many as 100 pints of blood. This means that your time and gift could save the life of someone immediately. What a wonderful feeling to know that your donation has given hope and a future to someone in need. Please consider donating blood this season at a Red Cross or Inova center. Someone will be eternally grateful to you.
