Outside Sales Representative (Residential)F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. is looking for an experienced outside HVAC Sales Consultant. Position Duties:
- Meeting or exceeding sales quotas on a consistent basis
- Offering prospective customers a no-cost, no-obligation HVAC replacement inspection
- Conducting HVAC replacement inspections, including taking photographs of specific areas of damage and wear, then conferring with prospective customers
- Visiting worksite on the day of installation to ensure that the process is going smoothly, and using this as another opportunity to generate new business in the neighborhood
- Contacting customers for a four-week follow-up once installation is complete
- Entering all customer and contract information into our system via company laptop PC
- Attending weekly team meetings at our office, except when you have customer visits scheduled
- Maintaining professional appearance and demeanor and keeping your company-provided clean and neat
- Create cross selling opportunities with our products and services
- Contact prospects and clients through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, and direct mail.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales (preferably HVAC but not necessary)
- A proven track record of success
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently, but must also be able to contribute to team initiatives.
- Excel at developing relationships over the phone.
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Word and Excel)
This is a full time position and is available immediately. Great earning potential ($150,000.00 plus). Vehicle, laptop, and all sales tools are provided. Paid training for the right applicant. - CFC Certification
- Pre‐employment motor vehicle check, drug screening and background check required

- NATE Certification a plus
- Sheet metal fabrication and boiler experience a plus
